In 2004, the company invested another 20 million renmimbi Yuan in reconstruction of key process equipment and purchased additional equipment, including a pipe pellet casting machine, a large furnace for heat treatment, a flat steel conforming machine, a 20 electric pole MPM tube welding machine which adopts the advanced Japanese Mitsubishi technique of gas protection, a multi-electric pole and two-end simultaneous weld machine which features little pipe shape changing, high quality and efficiency, allegedly the most advanced tube welding equipment in the world. The newly built serpentine tube is the most advanced domestic computer program controlled boiler used serpentine tube production line. Altogether, it is 170m in length, consisting of equipment including a tube sloping machine, a heat wire TIG automatic direct tube welding machine, an XTV tube welding image producing system, a computer controlled tube bending machine and a small R curving knob extrusion machine among which the TIG automatic straight welding machine is imported from Advanced Manufacture Engineering Technique Corporation in America. The AMET Company has a stable quality and high efficiency. The main parts of the XTV tube weld image produced inspection system are imported with enough optical differentiation to meet the non-destructive examination requirements of ASME, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The computer-controlled tube-bending machine adopts the double-side double R hydraulic pressure top curved tube process, which is turn over free when bending the tube. The hydraulic pressure service system and computer program fix the exact angle and length and can process and save data and analyze problems as they occur.
